Annual Thanksgiving Dinner
Joe Allen restaurant
What can you say that has not already been said before in Hollywood movies? Celebrate stealing the land from the native Americans? Being Thankful to God for another year of survival in an inhospitable strange land? Trying not to murder the relatives whom you only have to see once or twice a year?
To me, this has always been the ultimate harvest festival, topped off by the giant floats and balloons of the gigantic Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade and the Hummers Marching Band plus your high school football team slugging it out for the championship.
And then the comatose state in the wake of over-eating as the silly season between Thanksgiving and New Year’s begins! Which has now given to the international scene the infamous BLACK FRIDAY, aka “shop until you drop”.
So take a break from your shopping and join us for as close to an American Thanksgiving meal that you will find in Paris unless you cook it yourself.
We have it on good authority that calories consumed for Thanksgiving dinner do NOT count as actual daily intake so ENJOY!
Be our guest with your interpretation but come join us to celebrate with a traditional American Thanksgiving meal! (You can check out this year’s menu at https://www.joeallenparis.com/events/thanksgiving.)
Reservation and payment must be made in advance, please. Your place will only be reserved upon receipt of your online payment. This event is always sold out – so be sure to reserve early!
(Joe Allen has changed management and beverages are no longer included in the 50€ menu, hence the price change compared to previous years).
We will meet in the back room. Drinks at 7:30 p.m., dinner at 8:00 p.m.
To sign up please contact Mary Ann Rivet at firstname.lastname@example.org and pay online above.
